Music Together classes are held in the St. Philip's parish hall on a set schedule. For Winter 2019, classes are held on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. Please see our calendar section for exact dates and times.

"At Music Together we believe that musical ability is as much a basic life skill as walking and talking, and that all children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with pleasure in music making.

We sing, dance, chant, and play instruments together in an informal setting that will enrich your child's musical environment during the critical learning period of early childhood, and guide him or her towards a lifetime of musical enjoyment. Music Together, designed for children ages birth through kindergarten, is an international program based on research of the Center for Music and Young Children of Princeton, New Jersey.

We nurture the child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement and introduce children to the joys of making music instead of passively consuming it from television or the internet. Because young children instinctively respond to and imitate their loved ones, the active participation of parents and caregivers, regardless of musical ability — is the key to their musical development, and an essential part of our classes."
